Colin Bell's handicap has reduced by two shots to nine since he bought a set of
Snakes Eyes Python irons. Pictured right, he's one of two Golfmagic winners from those who submitted product reviews during July.
The former captain of Burgham Park in Northumberland, has played at Prudoe Golf Club since January ('it's less far to travel') and says the combination of a new challenge and his new irons have improved his game.
"I found it difficult at times to play a low, punchy shots because they are designed to get the ball airborne, vut with the correct shafts fitted, I'm now on to a winner," says Colin (48), a telecoms manager
"My golf was in the doldrums, scoring-wise, for three years until I changed my irons to my first ever custom-fitted set. Adjustments from standard where not much, (slightly longer and one degree upright) but it has given me more confidence.
"I was the world's worst for buying everything and anything, and in eight years had at least 10 sets of top brand irons and God knows how many drivers! But, I'm settled now with these Pythons. They're not a big brand, or the envy of the clubhouse, but I feel a great boost in confidence I would recommend highly. Forget buying for Kudos, get fitted and stick with them!"
