 TaylorMade r7 Quad HT

There's no better testimonial for a new driver than winning a longest drive competition and this is what happened to
Martyn Cladinbowl from Parc Penllergaer near Swansea, who submitted a review of his TaylorMade r7 Quad HT (high trajectory) club.
When advised that his
user-review of the club to Golfmagic.com during September ('high trajectory equals 300 plus yards!'), had won him a prize of a copy of the latest
ProStroke World Golf Tour Playstation game, which was released and
reviewed last month, he said: "I never normally win anything, but now I've won two prizes in two days having yesterday won the longest drive in my company's Open."
In his review he commented:"This club is truly exceptional. It gives a beautiful 'ping'
off the tee and grows with your game. I originally set the club up with a high draw bias, to counteract my power fade and have developed a nice draw. Now I'm sorted I just grip it and rip it!"
Martin(34), a managing consultant with Jaywing, told me he took up the game aged 15 when he borrowed his uncle's set of Wilson Sam Sneed clubs, then re-acquainted himself with the game three years ago and had his first hole in one in 2005 at Allt-Y-Grabbon Golf Club's 8th hole. He's now a 12 handicap member at Morriston Golf Club, near Swansea and dreams of a perfect fourball with Tiger Woods, Jack Nicholson and Kenny Dalgish.
Our other winner is John Mckenzie from Leeds who told us about the
Ping Craz-E putter he bought for £90 from his local pro and which transformed his game.
"I'm a really bad putter, always have been and probably always will
be. But now I have the bottle on short putts to aim at the hole and swing positively. No more trickling them up and hoping they fall in. On long putts alignment is easy and the weight seems just right,"says John (39), a hospital facilities manager and a 10-handicapper at Woodhall Hills Golf Club, who recently won captain's day with a nett 63.
