The new Pi7 clubs from Wilson Staff
|
Wilson Staff is set to launch Pi7 irons similar to the prototype currently being used on Tour by Volvo China Open champion Markus Brier. The smaller blade-style clubs, hide a perimeter weighting cavity, have reduced offset and a longer hosel.
The Pi7 irons are claimed to deliver maximum forgiveness for the creative shot-maker using Dynamic Golf steel shafts for a penetrating ball flight. They will be available from October (from 3-iron to pitching wedge for £499.
Hippo Golf is set to expand its Hex line of clubs with the Introduction of fairway woods, hybrids and a putter to compliment its successful Hex2 square driver. ?
?The Hex2 fairway woods will include a 17-degree 4-wood and a 21-degree 6-wood, featuring a shallow face and a similar hexagonal head to the driver to reduce the effect of side spin for straighter, longer shots. Hybrids will feature a 17-degree No.3, 20-degree No.4 and a 23-degree No.5, each with carbon rails .?
?Hexagonal-shaped putters will have a milled aluminum face and weight in each corner to keep the head square through impact. ?
