Valerie gets the nod!

Latest 2007 putters
Valerie putter from Yes!

YES! Golf, the pioneers in C-groove putter technology, is adding a new mallet putter to its range. The Valerie putter (£127) is face-balanced with a mallet style head and double bend in the shaft.

The makers say it's 'a compact mallet design with a twist' its unique shaft bend revealing more of the face and introducing a single sight line in the back cavity for easy alignment.

"The Valerie putter was designed with input from our Tour players," says Francis Ricci, President of YES! Golf. "And since the PGA Tour Players Championship, where a prototype helped one golfer finish second with four birdies on the back nine we have received many request to make it widely available."

YES! putters, of which there are 25 models, are currently used by over 200 Tour pros and have already won 12 times worldwide year. The C-Grooves are specifically engineered to enhance and maximize the over-rolling motion of the ball.

Improved Srixon AD333 balls

Srixon Sports, is launching a 'new and improved' version of it's best selling two-piece ball the AD333, featuring a new core, cover and aerodynamics. The Pana-Tetrablended cover, combined with a resilient core and 333 dimple pattern aims to provide greater distance and more feel.

The improved aerodynamics include six different dimple sizes with larger dimple diameters and greater dimple surface coverage, reducing drag speed, while improving roll and carry. Recommended pricer is £25 per dozen.
