FootJoy aims to launch a new era with the introduction of its revolutionary DryJoys PODS golf shoes in January.
The game's market leader since 1989, FootJoy says its 'Flextability' shoes - stability through flexibility - has been achieved incorporating Optiflex zones - flex points in the sole maintaining contact with the ground during the golf swing - with greater traction at impact.
"We're confident that FootJoy has once again raised the bar in golf shoe," says Jeremy Baldwin, director of product management.
The new shoes, will also feature full grain leather uppers with abrasion resistance, soft breathable membranes for comfort.
The new DryJoys - as worn by Henrik Stenson, Zac Johnson and Luke Donald - are expected to retail at £109 per pair.
