 New King Cobra Baffler DWS
|
Cobra has just made its pioneering utility club - the 2008 King Cobra Baffler DWS (Dual Weight System) - even more forgiving and playable. Due to be released in February, the club has had its centre of gravity moved even lower and deeper to deliver a higher trajectory and had its resistance to twisting at impact (MOI) improved.
The Baffler DWS's dual heel-toe weights are 18 per-cent larger than on the previous model and the new Contour sole offers makes it more versatile from a wide range of lies and different playing conditions.
Cobra is also re-launching the Baffler Pro - the result of collaboration between Cobra's Tour staff and their research and development team.
Its more compact profile and shallower face has been created to improve shot-making and by better players and combined with a Tour set-up promotes preferred trajectory and workability. Custom orders offer a shaft swing weight adjustment screw and options for a longer hosel allowing the lie angle to be adjusted.
The King Cobra Baffler Pro, with 16-,18-,20- and 23-degree loft options, is available in a graphite shaft with a suggested retail of £132. The graphite-shafted King Cobra Baffler DWS is available in mens, seniors and womens flexes, has a suggested retail price of £124.
Lofts are 16-29 degrees (men), 23 - 32 (seniors) and 23 - 35 (women).
