Srixon wedges
Wedges designed by Jim Furyk

Srixon Sports, which recently bought the Cleveland brand, has announced the arrival of its own WG-706 wedge series.

World No.3 Jim Furyk was instrumental in the design and shape of the new wedges, that feature a carbon steel head and UV grooves, for better spin and control around the green.

The grooves feature a 'side wall angle' allowing dirt, grass and moisture to be channeled away from the clubface with friction generating, milling treatment, to promote improved action 'from almost any lie.'

Heel bounce has been reduced and the trailing edge trimmed back, say Srixon engineers to make the WG-706 easier to lay open and be more versatile.

The 52- and 60-degree models have with eight degrees of bounce and 56-degree has 12. Available in right hand only, costing £99.
