Updated Ping classics

golf putters
Karsten Anser putter from Ping's new range

Ping, best known for its putters has updated its range of classic designs while still taking inspiration from its successful Anser and Zing models.

The Karsten series is aimed at golfers who prefer the performance and feedback of a steel face with the added feel of an elastomer insert feel. Weight savings from the new cavity shapes, says Ping, have been redistributed for added forgiveness, while alignment aids are also a new feature.

Karsten putters, with distinctive new grey, black and yellow headcovers, are available in Anser, Anser 2, B60, C67, Piper and Zing models (All £65), while the new Karsten Craz-E will cost £85.

ADAMS' NEW HYBRIDS

Adams Insight XTD hybrid

Adams Golf, one of the pioneers of hybrid clubs, is introducing the Insight XTD hybrid/fairway metal at this week's PGA Merchandise trade show in Florida.

It features Boxer technology with a higher MOI than most clubs in its class for extra forgiveness, while maintaining a lower spin rate.

Adams claims it's more versatile than most oversize fairway woods and longer off the tee.

There are Insight XTD a3 and a3OS models for medium and slow swing speeds respectively (priced at around £100) and slightly higher-priced XTD Pro versions for more skilled players.
