Played any great courses lately? Keen to share the experience with other Golfmagic members? If the answer to both questions is an emphatic 'Yes' you stand a chance of winning one of three pairs of golf shoes we're giving away every month.

In association with Stylo Golf, who are currently making a strong comeback into the game, we're rewarding members who submit the best reviews every month on courses they have played.

They don't have to be long, glowing reports to catch our eye. They might be quite critical of the conditions, the facilities or even the welcome. All we ask is that they are an honest assessment of what you experienced after you paid your green fee. Did you get good value? Would you go there again and, most important, would you recommend other Golfmagic members to play there?

Recommend a great course

Every month for the next six months, Stylo Golf is offering a pair of golf shoes from its range to three winners whose reviews are judged the most informative and helpful.

In March we're offering three pairs of Stylo Typhoon golf shoes, designed in a contemporary, sporty style with leather uppers, an Iso-thermal waterproof, breathable membrane and cushioned heel.

Fitted with an EVA outersole and Champ Stinger spikes, they are available white/black with a choice of red, blue or lime green trimmings in sizes 6-12.

Four guys playing 5 different courses in Pawley's Island. Picked venues that included marshland, parkland and plantation courses so we could have different experiences on every track. Got up early Thursday and played Pawley’s Plantation, a Jack Nicklaus designed track in the marshland. Pawley’s is fairly narrow and plays 6522 from the blues with a 72.5/132 slope. It was cold and damp with heavy winds and found ourselves with 2 and 3 club differences throughout. Very challenging. The fairways were not in the best of shape, however OK for the middle of winter. The greens were terrific however and played true. Wasn’t wild about the front nine because of the bordering condos everywhere. However, the backside is absolutely ...
