The ultimate trolley from Stewart Golf
|
Stewart Golf, best known for its streamlined, remote controlled golf trolleys has launched what it describes as 'the future of golf trolleys' - the F1 Lithium.
Its award-winning predecessor, the X3R which, when custom-painted, could set you back over £1,000. However, the F1 Lithium revealed this week in London, is more than double the price at £2,500. It not only has all the bells and whistles - it has a bag, too.
Stewart Golf says the F1 Lithium is the lightest (14kg), most efficient and easiest to control trolley on the market. It folds without need for clips or catches, and can stand on its end for easy storage.
The makers claim the lithium battery - with its LCD reading - is one third of the size of a standard trolley battery (and more than 80 per cent lighter) and features a quick connect system.
An added feature is a customised F1 golf bag is and an integrated locking mechanism to keep it and its contents secure. A handle folds into the rear pocket to unlocks the bag from the base. The bag contains 14 individual full-length dividers and 12 pockets including a valuables pocket.
Quick release wheels make it easier to dismantle to load into the car and thicker tyres promote quieter running.
All that for just £2,500? At that price I'd want it to give me yardages, read my putts, place a consoling arm round my shoulder - and buy me a pint at the 19th. Make that two pints!
