London Golf Show
London Golf Show's target golf challenge over water

Ryder Cup hero Lee Westwood will offically open the 2008 London Golf Show at around 10 am tomorrow (April 25) at the start of the 3-day golf extravaganza at ExCel in Docklands.

Last year, Westwood's team-mate David Howell was among the celebrities attending the show as a Cleveland Golf staff player and commented: “The show's great. I had a chance to look around and it's really interactive. It's great to see so many smiling faces with loads of gadgets and new clubs to try.”

Nike and Wilson Staff are also among the brands showcasing their latest equipment on the purpose-built indoor driving range, giving visitors the chance to get the clubs in their hands and hit a few balls.

Cleveland will have its custom-fit truck at the show to give golfers the chance to try out its new XLS range of drivers and woods, while Nike provide the clubs for those trying to hole out on the show's iconic floating green moored in Victoria Dock.

American Golf will also have a giant shop where visitors can browse and buy from the thousands of items available, many at discount prices.

In addition visitors have the chance to compete in the short game area with competitions to win and great prizes on offer.

Everyone coming to the London Golf Show (£15 for two adults purchased in advance - with children under 13 getting free entry) can also get free entry to 'A Place in the Sun Live', the world's largest overseas property exhibition running simultaneously at ExCeL.
