If you were going to associate Cobra-Puma Golf with an actor, who would you go for? Jim Carrey? Adam Sandler? Both good shouts, but go one better: Will Ferrell.

Last month, the Anchorman and Elf star teamed up with Rickie Fowler’s favourite brand for the Will Powered Golf Classic hosted by Will Ferrell - a competition rivalled in name-length by the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open - benefiting Cancer for College, a charity providing college scholarships to cancer survivors with funds raised through golf tournaments.

Cobra-Puma fitted the 44-year-old star with clubs, decked his team out in Puma Golf gear and auctioned off a Will Ferrell Cobra Staff Bag for the charity.

The tournament also consisted of four Cobra-Puma Golf challenge holes. A Cobra driver was up for grabs for whoever’s drive was closest to Ferrell’s. The second challenge was to use one club throughout an entire hole, with the winning team each receiving a Baffler, while the final challenge was the fastest hole and the winning team received a pair of Puma Golf shoes.
