“I’ve been impressed by how the Benross brand has developed and grown, so I’m delighted to be associated with a company which supports golfers from grass roots to Tour standard” says Coles.

“I really like the way the company have developed premium quality equipment, using the same components as the game's leading brands, while maintaining fantastic value for money” added Coles who also runs a golf course architecture consultancy.

He is currently using a Benross VeloCT driver, fairway wood and hybrid and testing a prototype Benross forged iron, two Benross Innovator wedges and the the Innovator Stand-Up putter.

“The forged prototype VX-51 irons which Benross have made for me are fantastic. I wish I'd had a set of irons that felt this good and were as forgiving when I was a regular Tour player,” he commented.

Jon Everitt, head of Benross Golf, based in Surrey, adds: “Neil Coles is a legend among his contemporaries so it's great to have such a gentleman playing as an ambassador for Benross on the Senior’s Tour."
