The new Nike Method Matter B2-01 is a classic Tour-proven putter that will likely suit golfers who have a slight arc to their putting stroke.

Nike has created a blade putter here that helps you square the face more frequently at impact, providing you the best possible roll for increased distance control.

The new RZN groove insert mixed against a 304 stainless steel helped soften the blow for an incredible feel on both short and long putts. Some of you may find it is a little softer than ideal, though.

Putts rolled consistently true on centre strikes and there was good feedback to be had on any squiffy strokes.

The alignment aid is pretty simple but works well, as too the darkened finish out in the sun. The midsize grip also helps to enhance the overall feel.

Verdict

At around £100, the Nike Method Matter B2-01 represents one of the better value blade putters on the market this season. Probably not ideal for someone favouring a heavier putter as it is quite light, but putts were rolling straight and true off the RZN groove insert and distance control was solid. If you crave a soft, responsive putter, this one is well worth a closer look.
