Not one for the faint hearted...

All okay on the right hand!

Finished your lunch? Former ladies World No.1 Annika Sorenstam has accidently cut off a chunk of her left index finger and shared the image with her Twitter followers.

And as we know many of you aren't on the social networking site, we thought we'd share it with you.

The ten-time major champion was cutting chicken back home in Lake Tahoe last week but took her eye of the procedure and ended up with a wound that was closed with five stiches.

As bad as the finger looks, the 42-year-old Swede reassured her followers: “Photo of my finger might be disgusting but no worries healing nicely. Stitches out in a week.”

If you are at all squeamish, we recommend you don't click here. Otherwise, come on in.

The story follows just a couple of weeks after Olympic ace Bode Miller decided to re-arrange his wife's face with a golf ball. If you can stomach it, you'll find that story behind this link.
