Open Golf 09: First two days tee-times

First out! Paul Broadhurst will fire the first shot at the Open 09

Englishman Paul Broadhurst, who jointly holds the scoring record of 63 for The Open Championship (at St andrews in 1990), will fire the first tee shot in the 2009 event at Turnberry's Ailsa Course at 6.30am on Thursday. He'll be joined on the first tee by Michael Campbell and Mark Calcavecchia, the 1989 winner.

Padraig Harrington begins his bid to emulate Peter Thomson's hat-trick of Opens (1954-56) accompanied American Jim Furyk and Australian Geoff Ogilvy at 2.20pm while Tiger Woods is joined by Lee Westwood and 17-year-old at 9.09am.

Other tasty groups include Paul Casey, with Angel Cabrera and Ryuji Imada, Sergio Garcia with Tom Watson and British amateur champion Matteo Manassero of Italy and Rory McIlroy with Anthony Kim and Retief Goosen.
