Presidents Cup Streaker 'wanted to create some excitement'

LAST week's Presidents Cup was spiced up when a streaker ran onto the course to the amusement of spectators and players.

Kimberly Webster, 23, bounded onto the 18th hole at Muirfield Village on Sunday afternoon wearing nothing but a G-string and a few tactfully placed stickers – or tactlessly placed stickers depending on your view. She has since set up a Twitter account (@PresCupStreaker) to enjoy her new found fame.

But why did she do it? Was there a political motive? Not quite. Kimberley was finding the competition a little docile and she had the solution - take her clothes off.

"I thought, imagine if someone streaked through this, it'd be hilarious, so we joked about it,” said Webster.

"I wanted to add a little excitement to golf because everyone seemed kind of depressed and like they weren't having fun because of the weather. I hadn't been to a lot of sporting events…I just thought it would be interesting to try something like this.

"The top streakers of all time were all men, so I decided I wanted to change that…It was golf — it's quiet and boring — and it was to make the top streakers of all time (as a woman)."

Well she definitely turned some heads that’s for sure.  Click here to see the video.
