Lucas Glover - the new 2009 US Open champion.

With a final round three over par 73, American Lucas Glover held his nerve to claim his first career-changing major, the US Open at Bethpage Black by two shots from Phil Mickelson, David Duval and Ricky Barnes. His winning total was four under par.
England's Ross Fisher shared fifth place on one under par.
Despite taking a five stroke lead with playing partner Ricky Barnes into the fifth and final day after weather had disrupted the championship throughout, it looked for a time that that the 29-year-old from South Carolina might buckle under the pressure as crowd favourite Mickelson and the chasing pack staged a charge at the unlikely duo.
Mickelson momentarily shared the lead as the pair stumbled around the turn. The left-hander holed a short eagle putt to go four under par at the 13th and join Glover at the top of a choked leaderboard.
Fisher followed him in for eagle 15 minutes later to get within a shot but missed a short putt on the next from which he couldn't recover.
Former Open champion David Duval picked up three shots to put in an overdue challenge for a second major but wobbled with bogey at 17. Barnes, too, was unconvincing in the closing stages. But Glover held firm, holing for birdie on 16, then claiming two pars on the final holes to clinch victory.
Canadian Mike Weir flattered mid-round and Tiger Woods looked for a time that he might set a suitable target but failed to hole crucial putts and lost momentum.
Glover was born in Greenville, South Carolina attended Clemson University, gaining a degree in communication studies. He played in the 2001 United States Walker Cup team and turned pro a year later.
His only PGA Tour victory was at the 2005 FUNAI Classic at the Walt Disney World Resort, holing a 35-yard bunker shot on the 18th for birdie to avoid a playoff.
