Re-furbished Oceanico Laguna opens soon

Oceanico Group one of the leading golf operators and property developers in the Algarve is set to extend to seven its course in the Algarve with the refurbishment of Oceanico Laguna.
The Laguna course at Vilamoura has undergone a state-of-the art facelift and is due to open in the next few weeks. Refurbishment includes re-grassing programmes and extensive top dressing to fairways as well as elaborate tree re-modelling.
Says Oceanico's chief officer Chris Stilwell: "This is the first phase of a three-year plan that will see improved surface conditions and a fresh overall look to the Laguna course. We are committed to making sure our courses maintainsa standard that visitors associate with Oceânico.
Other Oceanico courses in the area include the Nick Faldo and Christy O’Connor Jnr. courses at Amendoeira Golf Resort near Silves and four courses in Vilamoura (Oceânico Old Course, Oceânico Victoria, Oceânico Pinhal and Oceânico Millennium). Oceânico will also manage the new Royal Obidos golf resort, featuring a course designed by Severiano Ballesteros.
