 Cobra ProMB forged iron
|
Looks: Another traditional-looking club that is truly traditional in design. A beautiful looking club for the good players that like to shape their shots - left to right and right to left - but also keeping the ball down in flight.
The MB Blade is made of forged carbon steel and with a slightly longer neck that gave me a little more feel for more feel than the S2 Forged.
Feel/performance: The Pro MB Blade has a 'muscleback' to increase the power and feel behind the face from the consistent strikes that good players tend to make. It also has a thinner top line and a more rounded sole increases the power and feel from the club.
No surprise then that Cobra's contracted player including Ian Poulter and Geoff Ogilvy have been involved in their design. And I can immediately see why Ogilvy prefers it. I've played with hundreds of Tour players and he's one of the best natural strikers of a golf ball I've ever played with a a superb talent.
