Strengths: Good grip in all conditions. Much more comfortable than metal spikes with considerably less damage to the course.
Weaknesses: Can''t buy them anywhere! Usual clogging problems.
Overall: A good softspike but I spent 6 months (honestly) trying to find somwhere that stocked them! Neither the big name Golf stores, my pro-shop or my local golf shop (who can usually get anything) had them nor could they get them. Amazing when you consider they are standard fitment in the new Nike golf shoes. I couldn't even get them from the Nike golf shoe stockists. Eventually Champ UK provided me with a free set because I kept pestering them for somewhere I could buy them. Now I have used them I am glad I persisted but it does seem crazy that they are not easily available.
Strengths: Very much like the Black Widow, give plenty of grip in good dry conditions Tougher structure than B.W.'s, legs do not break so easily.
Weaknesses: Golfers legs will break easily if this sort of spike is used during the winter - slippy and dangerous on wet wooden or smooth wet concrete surfaces - deadly in tiled changing rooms. Clog up with cut grass - hard to keep clean
Overall: If you HAVE to wear softspikes then these are as good as any.
