Strengths: The sweet spot on the Callaway Big Bertha I have, a C4 10 degree loft regular shaft is near the top of the face. The extra long tees are the only ones that tee the ball high enough with half the ball showing above the club face.
Weaknesses: Easily broken, at my golf club I use the driver at only three of the nine holes on the outward half and five times in the inward half. I can guarantee that six of the long wooden tees will be broken
Overall: Prone to breakage. But you have to play them with the modern driver. Does any manufacturer produce the same length of tee in plastic?
