'QUALITY MIZUNO PRODUCT - YET AGAIN!'
Strengths:
Looks brilliant, feels brilliant, sounds brilliant! Straight, long & cheap - why buy anything else? It's a great club and can be bought at a very good price if you can find one! I got mine (10 degree stiff graphite) for £60 brand new at my pro shop!
Weaknesses:
For the price - none, although the head cover is a bit over powering!
Overall:
Even though this is an old model, it is a Mizuno so it is still a quality club! not the biggest head in the world, but it still goes miles. Added 30 yards or so off the tee and straighter than I ever was with my previous Titleist driver!
Highly recommend you try this before you splash out on a driver that costs you a fortune!

'VERY GOOD'
Strengths:
One of the best looking Drivers out there.

Goes a treat when it's hit out the middle.
Weaknesses:
Has a high Slice and Hook Dispersion when compared with others, so isn't as accurate.

[Update 31/05/06] Distance is poor compared with other drivers and the accuracy isn't great either.

Overall:
A stunning looking club, which is perfect when you really do 'cream' one, has helped me gain probably 20 yards on my old Ram driver.

It's also helped me achieve my longest drive of over 240 yards.

For anyone looking for a new Driver I think the MP-001 has to be one you should try!

'VERY NICE!'
Strengths:
Great with a smooth swing. Quite long and pretty straight
Weaknesses:
If you really go for it (i.e hit at it) then it will fade to slice. Probably me though. Other than that none.
Overall:
I have the 10 degree with the NV65 S shaft. Always had a fade/slice and this cures it most of the time. I know if I'm not swinging great I can't blame the club.
A bargain at £99. I've tried many drivers and this is the most consistant !!

'FANTASTIC PRICE. NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO SLICE!'
Strengths:
Long, draw bias, fantastic price, good-looking.
Weaknesses:
Took two rounds to get used to it but no weaknesses now I'm swinging smoothly.
Overall:
Got the stock Exsar shaft fitted after a custom fit with a 10-degree loft for £99. I then read some reviews of the stock shaft without even hitting a ball down a fairway which put doubts in my mind that I had bought the wrong shaft. At first I thought I had wasted my money - hooking and slicing everything. However, next time I put doubts to the side and consistently hit straight drives past my eight handicap brother-in-law. I went on to win the family Christmas round with my father-in-law (4&2).

This Mizuno fills me full of confidence and now find myself aiming for certain parts of the fairway rather than hitting and hoping.

'SLEEK AND SEXY'
Strengths:
They sit beautifully, look fantastic, have all the modern technology built into them and are a credit to Mizuno - the best fairway woods they have made to date
Weaknesses:
None that I can see, or have heard about from fellow club members. Great variety of lofts and shaft options, too.
Overall:
It's about time you took Mizuno very seriously in the woods and driver market. The irons have always been top drawer, now the woods are awesome, too. Great value at £170, too for the fairway woods. I'll post something soon about playability, perhaps Bob will put it on the main page for you.

'BEST 'WOODS' I EVER OWNED'
Strengths:
Forgiveness. Ease of strike.
Weaknesses:
??
Overall:
Ball leaves the head with a crack like a rifle. I have the 3, 5, and 7 woods. They hit the ball high or low with ease. They fill my iron gap between 165-195. (Yes, I'm old)

The pro here at the driving range tried them and they went 195-250. (Also tried my 10 degree MP001 driver and I lost sight of them at 280+).

'WHY I DONT QUIT GOLF EVERY WEEK'
Strengths:
It seems like no matter what happens throuughout my week there is always something that makes me feel good. And that is hitting a 260+ drive in front of my peers while swinging like an old man.
Weaknesses:
This is mizuno... There is no weaknesses.
Overall:
If i had just saved up some of my Ali G video money, then i could not only afford a new 3 and 5 wood i could buy the 7 to replace my 3 iron. There is no club on the market that you can swing as slow as you want and out drive anyone you play with. The real beauty of this club is that you not only hit them long, there is no such a thing as a miss hit. Easily the best buy on the market for anyone looking to be a good and solid off the tea and fairway golfer.
