Description: Grain Flow Forged from a single piece of 1035 mild carbon steel, MX-23's unique pocket cavity is then milled to create a low centre of gravity and wide hitting area. Refinements in the MX-23 improve forgiveness in the long irons and precision in the short irons. Double nickel chrome plated, MX-23 is manufactured to the same standards as Mizuno's MP irons.

'GREAT CLUBS'
Strengths:
a club with finesse
Weaknesses:
long irons are elusive unlike my old clubs
Overall:
I used to have widec 2 clubs and in performance terms thes smash my old clubs to smitherenes the hard hack has gone and the serene stroke is arriving-I'm learning a whole new game!

'QUALITY IRONS - GREAT S/H BET'
Strengths:
Feel distance and foregiveness
Weaknesses:
none I could really complain about
Overall:
I bought a set for £180 off E-bay after replacing the grips I have a really good quality set of clubs to see my hanidcap fall. I would recommend looking out for these rather than spending similar money for a new set of inferior clubs

'FANTASTIC'
Strengths:
When you're half a decent ball-striker the feel is incredible. Soft and sweet. It's fairly easy to hit them spot on. There are no gaps between the clubs. Distance is spaced equally.
Weaknesses:
None that I can think of as long as you don't abuse them. They're forged so a bit softer than cast irons. Wipe them clean and dry after a round.
Overall:
It doesn't come any better for a 24 hcp. Forget about the clumsy game-improvers. Slow down your swing tempo and just enjoy the feel of good strikes. Just add a decent gap and sandwedge. I've got the MP-R's in 52 and 58 degrees. Match made in heaven.

'WORTH EVERY PENNY'
Strengths:
These clubs feel really well balanced and give me confidence as soon as I pick one up. When you hit the ball on the sweet spot there is no better feeling, I can even shape shots with these when I struggled just to hit shots straight with my previous cast cavity backed irons.

Long irons are very easy to hit, the rescues may have to come out of the bag as I feel I can hit these just as well but with better control.

None
Overall:
Beatiful clubs, I have no doubt I can now move to a next level on my game with these. I am sure the new MX 25 will be even better but if you can find someone with stock of the mx - 23 then you will get a very good price, I paid £350.00 for mine.

'FEEL, FEEL AND MORE FEEL '
Strengths:
The soft feel when you hit the sweetspot.
Classic mizuno looks.
Workable.
Great value now that the MX900's are out.
Weaknesses:
Made from a very soft grade of steel so do mark up quite easily.
Overall:
These clubs are basically a iron with the benifits of a game improvement iron without the chunky looks.
I changed from MacGregor M455 irons which had the great forged feel but were almost too forgiving meaning it was extremely difficult to work the ball.
The MX23's should hopefully allow me to improve my iron play and get down from 13 to the holy grail of single figures whilst still providing me with enough forgiveness on poor strikes.

'FORGIVING FORGED FEEL'
Strengths:
Very forgiving and the long irons are a joy to use. Shorter irons are great too and the whole set will send the ball on a higher trajectory than most sets. As easy to hit as any club I've used and while they don't feel quite as good as a blade they come pretty close!
Weaknesses:
None
Overall:
Good-looking clubs that have a bit of everything. Got mine custom-fitted for £399. Superb value for a Tour-proven top of the range product.

'EPITOME OF FORGED IRON FEEL.'
Strengths:
Once you hit the ball squarely, no words can describe that feeling. These forged irons have that classic feel, yet the shape of the head is just pure joy when it meets the ball.
Weaknesses:
I would prefer lesser offset, but that's a very minor point. Ball flight trajectory is just a bit on the high side, but that is to be expected on cavity back irons.
Overall:
I ordered a set (3-iron to PW) with -1/2" and -2 degrees flat. They fit me almost perfectly. Make no mistake about it, the MX-23 will let you know on any miss-hits and will reward you equally when you nail it in the sweet spot.

'SOFT, STRONG AND VERYLONG'
Strengths:
Look very hittable at address despite the thinner top line, i've just upgraded from my trusty X-12s and already I know that shots are going to fall off my handicap. hitting these has even helped me swing my driver better because the feedback from the forged irons tells me where I'm going wrong. Glad I plumped for these over the 'uber-forgiving' G5s. Got mine for £369 from a pro shop online....perfick!
Weaknesses:
None so far but obviously forged carries a maintenance overhead ....i had some covers so they should keep nicely for a while yet.
Overall:
So far...so happy! Six shots off my handicap (18) this year is the target.

'THE BEST IRONS ON SALE TODAY.'
Strengths:
Beautiful forged clubs with lots of feel and distance.
Weaknesses:
You have to keep iron covers on them and clean them regularly as they will ruin otherwise.
Overall:
I had these custom fitted and they are great. I was standing to close to the ball and now have room to move with 1" extra on the shafts. You can get them in the new S300 light shaft which feels great.

'FEEL THE DIFFERENCE'
Strengths:
Amazing forged iron feel, some players say they cannot tell the difference, but to me its like day & night.
Very forgiving long irons.
Short irons look and play like blades.
I had these fitted with the Dynamic gold shafts rather than the standard Dynalite and the club feels much more stable throughout the swing.
About half a club longer than my previous irons (TM Burners).
Weaknesses:
Purists will not like the fact you can see the bottom flange on the 3 & 4 iron but I find it confidence inspiring.
Overall:
A very subtle improvement on the already proven MX 20, but improvement it is. The blade of the clubs are slightly more compact but with much softer lines giving a much more appealing look. More offset in the long irons for forgivness, less offset in the scoring clubs.
I tried just about every iron on the market before plumping for these, the only club that came close to overall performance was the MP 30.
Paid a quite reasonable £520 from my club pro, these were custom fitted with Dynamic gold R300 shafts and Crossline half cord grips.
