'ER RUBBISH WOULDN'T HAVE THEM GIVEN'
Strengths:
They look nice till you hit one
Nifty box
Er thats it
Weaknesses:
Poor distance
Poor control from short irons
Like putting with ball bearing
I bought a sleave of three just to give them a go and im not joking in 14 holes all three broke, the inner core snapped but that was after the cover shredded after one well struck wedge not bad for nearly 4 quid each
Overall:
Dont bother wasting your money!
Range balls go further!
Top Flite concrete balls stop faster!
Feels like a bouncy cannon ball of the putter!

GO BUY SOME MAXFLI BLACKMAX INSTEAD AND ENJOY YOUR GOLF!

'LIKE HITTING A MARSHMALLOW'
Strengths:
No strengths whatsoever.
Weaknesses:
These balls are truly memorable, you will hit the shortest drives you have ever hit.
Feel off the putter is non existent.
Overall:
Pitiful in the extreme.
They are expensive, very short, spin is average at best. They don't even look good.
I thought it was me but spoke with a number of decent golfers all of whom said they couldnt hit these things anywhere.

'Pro V1 - it has its measure'
Strengths:
Stable in flight, soft feeling, nicer to put with than Pro V1 and an all round great ball. This really has the Pro V1 in it's sights and I for one will start using it over teh Titleist now, and I expect teh price to come down a touch too, whereas the Pro V1 is still £40 for a dozen.
Weaknesses:
Not quite as durable as the Pro V1, but just about - mind you, I was using brand new Mizuno wedges and they cut the cover off our rock hard range balls!
Overall:
The best Callaway have come up with to date for the better player, worht a look when you get them in your shop, still, £40 is a lot to pay for a winter golf ball, but next summmer, these will be awesome. I tried them at La Manga and was very impressed.

'CALLAWAYS BEST OFFERING'
Strengths:
Good distance, feel and spin
Weaknesses:
Price
Overall:
Not a fan of Callaways balls but thought i would try this as heard good things and was pleased with what i found. Compares favourably to the Titleists but in my opinion these still have the edge especially the ProV1x. Also would put Nike One ball in front of it. Still would quite happily use HX tour in future although they are pricey.

' A FANTASTIC COMPETITOR TO TITLEISTS PRO V1 '
Strengths:
Very high launching ball with good control and distance, also found greenside spin very good. On longer shots the ball tends to drop and stop unlike the pro v1 which tends to rip back.
Weaknesses:
Price, these are £36 here but only £23 pounds (equivalent) in america. Also not that durable.
Overall:
A fantastic ball that will allow the low hitter to gain more carry yardage. The Hx tour 2 prototype which may come out at the end of this year produces a lower flight for those who do not like this ball.

'A TITLIEST PRO V BEATER?'
Strengths:
Good distance, optimum spin control excellent feel of the putter face.
Weaknesses:
Cannot compare to the Pro V for durability.
Overall:
I have been a Pro V user and devotee from when they first appeared on the market. I don't usually try other brands, but a friend gave me one to try and I was hooked!
With the exception of durability I think this ball beats the Pro V, especially when considering spin contol. For me it gives the optimum amount of spin.

Procey though!

'A GOOD LOOKING BALL WITH DISTINCTIVE MARKINGS TO MATCH PERFO'
Strengths:
There is a very good sound from the Ball when using a Driver and the distance is excellent, yet it retains a nice soft feel when putting.
Weaknesses:
Unfortunately the Ball is not as white in colour as other leading Balls and after 2 rounds it looks quite shabby....and it is not just the way I hit it. Apply a whiter element and it will be perfect!!!!!
Overall:
Would recommend its use on a performance basis as it has all the attributes you wouild wish for in a first class Ball, but I would expect it to hold its appearance better than I experienced bearing in mind the cost factor.

'GOOD PERFORMANCE - POOR DURABILITY'
Strengths:
Plenty of distance & spin. This has a combination at least the equal of the Pro VI. Firmer/clickier off the putter than the Pro Vi (like Pro VIx)
Weaknesses:
Cover durabilty of the half dozen golf balls used so far has been poor - A bit like the Strata Tour Ace. Innocuous short irons shred the cover. Three or four holes could well be the maximum distance for this ball.
Overall:
I like the HX Tour's performance and think that Callaway have the distance/spin mix right for me with this ball. But the poor durabililty means its not for at the premium price.

'AT LAST SOME REAL COMPETITION FOR TITLEIST PRO V1'
Strengths:
Long distance for a premium ball, holds line better than most in the wind. After abandoning for a couple of months, returned to find softer off the wedges and putter face than first imagined. I thought it was more durable than the Pro V1.
Weaknesses:
Price (just like all other top premium balls), do lose their colour worse than others
Overall:
A good ball that better players will appreciate more. Have Callaway Golf managed to move away from the pack in pursuit of the revolutionary, unbeatable Titleist and their Pro V1(x) models.

'ONE OF THE BEST '
Strengths:
Penetrating flight compared to what I usually hit . Very responsive off the face and produces a moderate amount of spin.
Weaknesses:
Not as much distance as other leading balls.
Overall:
Great for a player who likes a moderate amount of spin and a low flight.
