Average Rating: 3 out of 5
No. of Reviews: 6
RRP: £36.99

Description: The solid core, three-piece HX features a patented tubular lattice network that results in 100 percent surface area coverage. This design improves low-speed lift and reduces high-speed drag to give you a more penetrating trajectory, greater carry, more roll distance, and unsurpassed flight stability as compared to traditional dimple patterns. The HX Blue is slightly softer and spins a bit more than the HX Red, while still providing great distance off the tee.

'HX RED - IF YOU LIKE PINNACLES YOU'LL LOVE THESE'
Strengths:
Goes well off the tee.
Weaknesses:
Doesn't go so well off a wedge or a putter.
Hard feeling and seems not to hold its line when putting
Expensive for what it is - the benefit of the hex is a hoax.
Overall:
Save your money - buy Titleist NXT instead.

'MARKETING DREAMS'
Strengths:
Distance
Weaknesses:
Hype
Overall:
I usually use the CB's but I thought I'd give these a go beleaving all the hype around them. I think I lost one with the first Tee shot I hit.

They travel a far distance I give them that but what use is that if you loose them because of it.

'HX TOUR HAS THROWN GAUNTLET TO TITLEIST'
Strengths:
HX Tour, the black one, it's pretty good and I can differentiate between this and a PRO V1 - It's good in every way and perhaps better to chip and putt with
Weaknesses:
Can't see one - still don't like the prices, but hey, not anything I can do about that. Cheaper than PRO V1 though
Overall:
Great ball, soft feel, good distance, nice to putt with and it's white and round!

'YOU CAN TELL THAT IT ISN'T A TITLEIST!'
Strengths:
Good off the tee, and not bad round the greens.
Weaknesses:
Expensive!
Overall:
This is no Titleist. Don't bother buying these, stick to Titleist.

'LONG AND STRAIGHT'
Strengths:
I love the feel when playing fairway irons with these.
Off the tee they fly along long way too.
Touch around the greens was pretty darn good too.
Weaknesses:
Durability may be a problem, i dont fancy hitting too many trees with these.
Cost is quite high.
Apart from that... nothing.
Overall:
I love this ball, when i first teed one up it flew forever off the tee, then came (for me) the biggest test, how would it play off the fairway? truly superb was the answer... the ball just took off the club face and went straight, feeling around the greens was alot better than the Pinnacles that i normally use, putting felt softer than the Pinnacle too... overall this is a lovely ball, i cant vouch for the durablilty tho, i cracked one off a tree and it did mark up a bit... not sure how much abuse these HX's could handle like that, stay out the trees and you're onto a winner!
