Strengths: Good penetrating low-mid ball flight. Excellent feedback on well connected shots with low torque/twisting of clubhead on off-centre shots.
Weaknesses: Struggled a bit for feel when in my titleist drivers, perhaps due to bore-thru making it feel a lot firmer than true flex.
Overall: Quality shaft, relatively inexpensive (£80-100 fitted), though the 65NV wasn't the one for me.....pity! Playing in a tour-issue ignite, felt like butter, in 983k/905R, felt harsh - horses for courses??
Strengths: Great looks, amazing feel, awesome control and consistency.
Weaknesses: None whatsoever
Overall: If you are serious about your golf you have to consider reshafting your 'Big Dawg' with a premium shaft. I have fumbled around for a couple of years now trying out several different brands and models and have to admit that by far the Aldila NV is the sweetest! I now have this shaft in all my woods, and the feel you get whilst swinging the club can only be described as like swinging through soft butter. This shaft just oozes class and for the first time I fell completely in control of my golf ball off the tee!
