'VERY GOOD PUTTER'
Strengths:
alignment, forgiveness, roll on the ball, feel.
Weaknesses:
price, looks.
Overall:
The best putter I have used so far, if you draw a line on your ball, use a pedulum swing, three putts are infrequent, dont pay full price buy off ebay.

Strengths:
easy to align puts, consistent strike, nice feel off face.

'FINALLY PUTTING LIKE A GOLFER!'
Strengths:
The combination of the soft face and sight line coupled with high MOI come together to give me the best putter I've ever used. Fewer 3 puts could be down to just better putting but that combined with the number of holed long puts is no coincedence. Along with the G5 driver have really changed my scoring.
Weaknesses:
Arguably unattractive and bulky but thats a direct result of the design. Looks better from the base than the top? Thats it though.
Overall:
I'ved tried Taylor Made, Scotty Cameron, Nike and Wilson and thought that it was me and that I should get lessons. I will do that as well but this putter has improved my game, no question

'DOESN'T SIT SQUARE AT ADDRESS'
Overall:
like the futura , you place it on the ground and the face seems to naturally sit about 30 odd degrees open. How can that give you confidence?

'GREAT PUTTER'
Strengths:
Really good on short putts, line it up and commit to the putt. Holing out from under 10 feet has become much easier.
Good weight.
I also like the look of it - exudes quality workmanship.
Weaknesses:
Finding the weighting on long putts is sometimes difficult.
Velcro on the cover is rubbish.I've only had it a few months and it's losing effectiveness.
Overall:
Mine is a center shafted version - I've really improved my putting with it, having changed from heel weighted Ping Anser.
Great value for money - bought for 40 quid at American Golf this summer.
Overall very satisfied.

'BUNGALOW ON A STICK'
Strengths:
Confidence at set-up, beautiful finish, superb short/medium putt feel
Weaknesses:
Original grip slimy when wet, hard to judge long putt strength
Overall:
MacGregor kindly sent me an excellent new grip, and changing it allowed me the opportunity of cutting it down to 33" (I think most putters are too long). Wouldn't swap it.If you're good on long putts, learn to hit your chips close!

'AMAZING!!!!!!!'
Strengths:
brilliantly weighted.
easy alignment.
real confidence builder.
equal if not better than the 2-ball
Weaknesses:
i have the Gt version and that looks better than the normal version, so when i say that mine is slightly ugly i would want to say what the normal MK5 looks like. YCH!
the need to buy the extra weights separately

'UGLY'
Strengths:
Excellent weighting.Creates a smooth putting action. Fantastic build quality.
Weaknesses:
As pointed out in some other reviews, dwarfs the rest of your clubs in the bag. Has looks only a mother could love. Have been know to be a bit heavy-handed with my shorter putts due to the sheer size of the putter. Long putts can need a really good wrap to get them close.
Overall:
Great putter, a bit pricey ( I picked mine up for £114 from AGD in Nov 2004, RRP was once £250). Needs plenty of work for longer putts and not to get too fiery on the shorter ones.

'Top quality beautifully weighted putter'
Strengths:
Alignment line across the top. The weight allows for a nice slow take away and a steady follow through gets the ball rolling on a great line. Has improved my holing out from within 15 feet by miles.
Weaknesses:
Crikey I love it all. Maybe a magnetic head cover rather than velcro but thats just being picky.
Overall:
Brilliant build quality if your serious about changing putters have a go with this. My personal preference has always been for small blade putters (only used one in the last ten years)having tried a friends I was instantly converted. I did thoroughly test two balls, pings etc but this for me is head and shoulders above them. (and now at an amazing price)

'BRICK ON A STICK'
Strengths:
Great build quality and feel, easy alignment.
Weaknesses:
Problems with distance control but that's probably more me than the club. As stated the headcover is very poor and the velcro has fallen off mine, now looking for a suitable replacement.
Pretty pricey, but it is a piece of engineering rather than mass produced casting.
Overall:
Very nice club that I am always proud to take the cover off......Unfortunately more often than not this is quickly followed by burying it in the bag in shame as yet another 3 putt ruins my card.
It's not the putter, I am crap!
