'STRAIGHT WITH A FEEL-GOOD FACTOR'
Strengths:
Quality, clean trajectory, flight and sound.

[Update 19/02/07] Quality, clean trajectory, flight and superb sound.

Weaknesses:
Unusual fitting of the shaft into the club, gives me a false sense of the clubhead being weak. Just a sense... not the reality.

[Update 19/02/07] None.

Overall:
I have the 2H and this is a nice club 2 replace my 2Iron.
Lovely sound off the face, clean piercing flight and drops the ball nicely at its destination. Occasional fade but generally straight with a feel-good factor.

[Update 19/02/07] I have the 2H and this is a nice club 2 replace my 2Iron.
Lovely sound off the face, clean piercing flight and drops the ball nicely at its destination. Occasional fade but generally straight with a feel-good factor. Hit this dead-on and you will see distances not far off a good drive! I've been 10-15yds or so off various opponents driving and that much from longest drive on one friendly comp.

'AVERAGE CLUB AT REASONABLE PRICE'
Strengths:
Sound is a reassuring ping from clubface. Easy to use, easy on the eye, good price, similiar design to fairway wood so makes simple transition from one to the other.

[Update 19/02/07] The sound it makes when hitting it reminds me of my Callaway 3 wood and even sounds like a drive but the results are not as good.

Weaknesses:
None with the club but hope my long game does not suffer too much by relying on this club too much!

[Update 19/02/07] Not as forgiving as i would expect, plus as it looked like my fairway wood, i would tend to hit it like a fairway which is not the correct way to hit a rescue wood. I could not stop hitting it right, which was probably my fault i suppose, but i could not get past the looks whcih was just a small fairway wood....
Sounded little hollow, and not as solid as an iron, or even the taylor made rescues....

Overall:
Brilliant club, excellent design, highly recommend it

[Update 19/02/07] Ok club, but not as good as some of the taylor made or cleveland halo's out there. its design can lead to confusion as i think it needs something to remind you that it is to be used like an iron, not a fairway wood.

'EXCELLENT'
Strengths:
Great off the tee; low penetrating flight.
Weaknesses:

Overall:
Could not get on with my 3-wood, so bought a No.1Heaven utility wood, and have not looked back. Superb piece of equipment. Recommended

'75% REDUCTION IN CUSSING ON THE COURSE - NEED I SAY MORE?'
Strengths:
It really lives up to the hype. Great for high looping approach shots. Makes light of nasty rough stuff and gives you the confidence to try some creative stuff like using it with a putting stroke from the fringe - see how close you can get to the pin!
Weaknesses:
Bit pricey I guess but I trade that off against the savings I've made with the swear box!
Overall:
I wouldn't consider myself a great golfer - I've always had difficulty hitting any iron longer than a 5. I tried many many rescue clubs at the shop before settling on the 3h Heavenwood. The assistant tried to sell the virtues of the Taylormade which you can adjust to compensate for hook or slice (which would be great if I played the same bad shot twice in a row but I'd spend all my time adjusting and not much time playing!). Anyway, this club has increased my enjoyment of the game beyond measure. It really does what it says on the blurb; I now hit fantastic high, soft landing 2nd shots into par 5's. I use it from the fringe to bump and run, off the tee on short par 4s I even picked the ball off the sand in a fairway bunker with it and shot the ball 150yards to the green! If you've got a spare £90 buy one!

'FAVOURITE CLUB IN THE BAG'
Strengths:
Great profile at address.
Feels weighty in your hand which inspires a confident swing.
Beautiful sound at impact.
Solidly put together, will last for eons.
Weaknesses:
Maybe it's just me but it has a tendency to sit a little open at address so I feel like I have to square it up.
Overall:
I have the 4h which I use at every opportunity and the 2h which is a little more wild to control but still goes like a rocket.

'A REAL CLASS ACT'
Strengths:
The club felt like an old friend as soon as I started using it. The overwhelming feeling was one of quality followed closely by the fact it picks the ball up beautifully and plonks it 200yds down the fairway usually without fail. One of my most consistent clubs. I use the 3-wood/20 degree version
Weaknesses:
More of the nature of the shallow face but it can have a tendency to 'top' shots from less than fluffy lies as you haven't got much club to work with. This probably affects all rescue clubs, however. Also have the 1-wood/14degree, which doesn't seem to offer me much more for my money. One club is enough.
Overall:
An essential squad member of the 14 clubs I'm allowed!

'AMAZING'
Strengths:
Very easy to hit from anywhere on the golf course especially off the tee and off the fairway. Amazing feel to the club. Fitted with a brilliant standard shaft. Takes shots off your round and helps reduce handicap after just one round.
Weaknesses:
None
Overall:
Amazing world class club. Again Callaway prove they are still one of the best manafacturers of golf clubs.

'SUPERB'
Strengths:
Produces a penetrating flight from the tee and fairway, much easier to use from the rough than a higher lofted wood
Weaknesses:
None
Overall:
Never been a fan of Callaway clubs, after experiencing mediocre results with an original Warbird Driver. This club however is something else. It hits the ball arrow straight from virtually any lie that is at all playable, and fully justifies the rave reviews it has been receiving in the Golfing press. The shorter Shaft makes it more controllable than a Wood, and the head makes it easier to play than a long iron.In my view every golfer should at least demo it.
