Description: The Fli-Hi CLK bridges the distance gap between conventional woods and irons. A deep centre of gravity makes the Fli-Hi CLK more forgiving than the traditional long iron, while the narrow body and short shaft give greater control than a fairway wood.

Strengths: Easy to use, easy to get up in the air, versatile club around greens, long, high, easy to shape shots, good out of rough, deadly for long par-3s and long par-4 second shots
Weaknesses: Only the image of not being able to carry a 2-iron and look manly!
Overall: I have been looking for a replacement for my old Callaway 1-iron for flight and distance characteristics - the 17degree Fli-Hi CLK does everything the old club did and more - great ball flight with stiff shaft, versatile and a good shot-saver around the greens, too. Fabulous addition to my bag.
Strengths: main strength is ease of use - fantastic soft drawing flight from tee & fairway - very easy out the first cut of rough.
Weaknesses: none at all ! - why struggle with a 2 or 3 iron when this piece of Mizuno craftsmanship inspires long shot confidence ?
Overall: I bought the 20* model with DG 'lite' steel shaft £99 - a truly wonderfull club and as ever with Mizuno a statement in quality !
Quite possibly one of the best bits of kit I've ever bought - always previously sceptical of clubs claimed to make the game easier but in this case the exception to that thought is massively apparent - I really see no logical reason for people to try and persist with a 2 & 3 iron (even low handicap) when a club like this performs so much better and so much more consistent - very impressed !
