'DEPENDABLE AND SOLID ALL ROUND'
Strengths:
Really easy to hit from fairway, rough and bunkers; long and accurate with it. Nice Tour Velvet grip.
Weaknesses:
Headcover without 'sock' and the face has marked up quickly but that's being very picky. Haven't really found any faults worth highlighting.
Overall:
I bought my first hybrid after I started to struggle with a steel-shafted Cobra 5-wood; it's not to replace my long irons as I hit them well. This is my third hybrid club and I got this for £75 in a sale (my value rating reflects this). I was looking to replace a hybrid that was custom made for me but I couldn't quite get the best out of it as the shaft seemed a touch soft for me.
However, the stiff graphite shaft in the CLK felt right as soon as I tried a 20-degree one out on the range. The graphite element in the clubhead seems to promote, in my hands at least, a dampenedd and solid feel at impact, which I've quickly grown to really like.
With this club, it gives me the 200 yard shot, and often much more, that I used to carry the 5-wood for. I now enjoy taking on long approaches that I had no confidence in before.
As a result, and mentioned by another reviewer, I'm seriously debating getting a 17deg version and dropping my TM R580 3-wood as well.
This is another great Mizuno club that is well worth your consideration if you're in the market for a hybrid.

'A real confidence inspiring golf club'
Strengths:
High ball flight, consistent contact and lovely looks.
Weaknesses:
Takes a little while to master.
Overall:
I bought the CLK about 3 months ago. I wanted a club to replace the dead weight of my 3 and 4 irons (which never came out of the bag during a round!).

I have never been comfortable over a long iron and found that I had a tendency to spray my 5-wood around a bit too much off the deck. This hybrid from Mizuno seemed just the job.

My first round with the CLK showed me some encouraging signs, a decent penetrating ball flight from a good contact, however I started to top a few toward the end of the round and couldn't get to grips with it. After several weeks practising hard with the club I discovered that I was swinging it too much like a fairway wood and this was causing the inconsistency. By choking down on the grip until my right thumb covered the Mizuno sign it quickly became my best friend!

Despite not being the longest of hitters I can carry this club (23 degree) 180-190 yds and it has given me the confidence to go for the greens on even the longest of par fours.

This club has been genuine revalation for my game, if like me you struggle with the longest irons BUY THIS CLUB.

'EASY TO HIT '
Strengths:
Easy to hit and high flight (23 degree, reg. steel shaft)
Weaknesses:
Flight could be a problem in high winds
Overall:
I can hit it 4 iron length with a smooth swing, and it will go where I aim, I can also give it a bit more ‘wellie’ and get another 15 yards which will be around 3 iron length. It’s so easy to hit that even with a faster swing it still goes very straight.
The club has a very solid weighty feel which gives you a lot of confidence, especially in the rough where you really feel the club will cut through and 'rescue' you.

Overall a very confidence inspiring club and something of a bargain if you shop around.

'Love my 20-degree version'
Strengths:
Easy to hit, goes straight and for miles
Weaknesses:
My swing!
Overall:
Excellent club, which bought it for those180-200-yard par-3s but mostly get over 200 yards out of it - and arrow straight. Considering buying a 17-degree model for driving and a 23-degree.
