Strengths: For the beginner, this set is a good introduction to the world of golf as for a relatively cheap price (less than £100, the RRP is a joke), you can have a full set of clubs with either graphite or steel shafts. I own a graphite set of these clubs and have found the driver and woods to be very forgiving and quite nice to use. I can regularly hit straight(ish) drives of 200-270 yards, the irons are a bit more difficult to use but the wedges I find to be very good. This may just reflect my skills as a golfer though.
Weaknesses: There have been stories and reports of the head separating from the shaft for some owners of the Dunlop 65's, this was back in 2005/6 and as it is currently 2008 I am not sure as to the accuracy of these reports for now. I've done five rounds of golf with my clubs as well numerous trips to the driving range for practice and can't say that the abuse I've been giving them has given rise to the problems mentioned above, if I do have problems, then I will amend my review.
Overall: If you are unsure if golf is for you, or want to try a graphite set, or even want to try a lob wedge, then the Dunlop 65 clubs are a good idea for you as a small investment of less than £100 will get you a full set, (or £8 for a lob wedge).
Overall: I have these clubs and i can't complain for the price i paid (£60) from sportsworld. I have hit the floor no end of times and they are still in 1 piece
