'A HIDDEN GEM'
Strengths:
Fantastic Aldila NVS shaft, Golf Pride grip and a head that sits beautifuly behind the ball.
Weaknesses:
None
Overall:
I doubt many golfers would pick Benross as an option when buying a fairway wood, but they should take a look. I bought this Benross 5 wood with the intention of taking the shaft out of it to put in my V steel II 5 wood. When I recieved it through the post it looked so go I decided to give it a whirl first. I'm glad I did. I play off 7 and I've tried many a fairway wood. Ping, Callaway, Taylor Made, Adams, Srixon to name but a few. This is the best fairway wood I've hit, the stiff NVS shaft is the dog's and the head picks the ball up like a dream.

All this for £29.99 brand new, what a bargain. The V steel is now up for sale.

'SWEET!'
Strengths:
The clubface gives you bags of forgiveness and confidence for hitting off turf. The shaft and grip are great.
Weaknesses:
None
Overall:
Like its bigger brother driver (V12 plus) this is a great bit of kit for the money. I took this club straight down the driving range and was hitting 200 yards off the mat with little effort and they were going straight. Lovely.
