'BATTERIES CRAP 13MTHS'
Strengths:
looks good
Weaknesses:
1 new motor
Overall:
one new motor and battery packed in within 13 mths isn't reliabilty to me.
And i am assured the battery now is only 20ah you get with new caddy mine was 26ah.

'ONE GREAT BIT OF KIT'
Strengths:
Light, easy to assemble, quiet as a mouse and packed with features!
Weaknesses:
A little fiddly to set up the distance cut off but still great that they put this feature on from the earlier versions
Overall:
A great bit of kit that does everything and more that I want from a golf trolly.

My first purchase of an eletric trolly has been a great one.

'GOOD PRODUCT.'
Strengths:
Well engineered, clever design.
Weaknesses:
Electronic functions work well, but any golfer should know that the distance functions are illegal in competitions. To produce another card that gets round this problem and then charge £30 pounds for it is a bit of a liberty
Overall:
Good value ( with a replacement card !!!

'2008 MODEL - VERY QUIET & CAPABLE'
Strengths:
Extremely quiet
Weaknesses:
Not as fast as I was expecting.
Overall:
Firstly the easy of assembly is great. A couple of clicks and its assembled with the battery in place and ready to go. The one bug bear I would have would be that there is no position adjustment for the top strap. As the clips are in a fixed position, they clip together in the most awkward place for my bag. Not a major problem but something to point out.

Whilst waiting on getting away I had a look at the rest of the other powered trolleys that were about. It has to be said that in the aesthetics department, the S3 wins hands down. Granted there were no other "top of the range" trolleys there, but compared to what was in use it was, in my opinion, the best looking.

On the course it pulled well, even with a very full bag. However I had it mostly on either the top speed setting or the second top setting whilst walking between shots. Now I didn't think that we walked that fast but I was expecting a bit more speed out of it. Not that its slow but I was expecting to have to run after it at top speed. On the steepest of inclines it required a helping hand, but I'm talking extremely steep and not your normal fairway slopes.

I used to be bothered with my bag twisting on my old pull trolley. I'm glad to say that my bag stayed in the same place all day long and never budged once.

One thing to note was the handle didn't seem to like being "steered" one handed. It moved a bit when trying to make sharp(ish) turns. What I would recommend you do if you have to turn it would be to lift the front end off the ground slightly, using both hands on the handles, turn it in the direction you want and let it down again. Something similar to how you would turn one of the old style prams without any castor wheels. Negotiating some twisty stuff requires you to turn it off and push it through until you are able to set it off on a straight line again.

Overall first impressions are good. It did what it had to and coped very well. I didn't try too much with the distance measuring and such but the Adjustable Distance control worked a treat. Sent it on the full 60yrd maximum and it went to almost the exact spot I wanted it to.

I hope the honeymoon period last a good while!!

'GREAT PRODUCT, LIGHT, POWERFUL, LOADS OF FUNCTIONS.'
Strengths:
Incredibly light and strong. Digital display is really cool and the yardage counter is pretty handy. To top it all , a clock on board. I never wear a watch when i'm playing golf and never know the time !.
Weaknesses:
Distance cut off would be nice but I am told they have a remote start/stop on the way
Overall:
Brilliant value for money all round.

What can I say, the Motocaddy boys have come up with a really good innovative product.
