Full of clear illustrations to support the text, and set out in a way that makes finding the relevant rule quick and easy. Comes spiral bound, the size of a small notebook, and made of laminated plastic so it doesn't get wet and wont fall apart easily.

'Simple, handy and user-friendly guide to the rules of golf'
Strengths:
Summarises the key rules you need on the course. Laid out in the order you play the course "on the tee", "through the green" etc so its very easy to find the rules relevant to your situation very quickly. Has very clear and useful diagrams to show how and where to drop etc, how to take relief and that sort of thing.
Weaknesses:
Only covers the Strokeplay rules, so no specific references made to matchplay situations. However this is a minor point, the bulk of what you will need on the course is included
Overall:
This is a really, really useful piece of golf gear. The first time I took it out in a medal, I used it 3 times, once for me and twice at requests from playing partners.
its laminated plastic, so you can carry it in your bag and it won't fall apart if it gets wet, and its much more hardy than the official rule book, and 10 times more accessible. At this price it's a must have.
After I bought one and used it, a load of people im my club have ordered them. Its amazing how many people are unsure of some of the basic rules, and this is a perfect tool for checking or settling arguments on the course. One of the best bits of golf kit I've ever bought.
