Rickie Fowler's new golf shoe is one of the snazziest on the market.

Stylish, snug, stable and secure - the new limited edition PUMA Golf TitanTour Ignite Disc shoe is the sexiest new golf shoe to hit the shelves.

PUMA Golf knows this one won't be for everyone in its loud, in-your-face red blast, white and black version, but for the Manchester United fan like myself, who just happens to be a fashion-conscious golfer, this one very much appeals out the box.

WIN: PUMA TITANTOUR IGNITE DISC SHOES

Nevertheless for the traditionalists out there, and those who don't necessarily follow the 20-time English league champions, you will be pleased to know there is a dubbed down white and black model, which looks equally smart.

We have been raving about PUMA's TitanTour Ignite shoes, in both spikeless and spiked models for a number of months now, but there is something a little more special about the latest launch. PUMA's innovative 'Disc' technology comprises a laceless closure system that provides golfers with unrivaled comfort and a fully custom fit.

Forget those laces, just slip your foot into the shoe and twist the dial back and forth to ensure you are locked into position. The clever internal wire system tightens the upper, while a simple turn in the opposite direction ensures you can easily loosen the shoe.

The beauty is that you can guarantee a secure and snug fit, without the need for a custom fitting. If they handed out PB's for golf shoe changing, this one would be a gold medallist.

Everything is in your hands with this product, even if one of your feet is bigger than the other. The new Disc technology is a perfect alternative for the golfer who thinks "am I an 8, or a 7.5?" or "I'm an 8 in a trainer but typically a 7.5 in a golf shoe".

You can essentially mould the shoe to fit your foot.

The shoe comes packed with PUMA's successful Ignite foam, designed to deliver responsive cushioning and supreme comfort, as well as a DuoFlex outsole that allows the foot to move naturally while still providing support.

When the heavens opened, the shoe performed admirably and caused no slippage on full swings. Both feet also remained cool and dry after the round. The shoe's performance microfiber is also incredibly smooth and easy to clean from front to back.

REVIEWED: Best golf shoes 2016

This is one very durable golf shoe, and is so far showing no signs of creasing following two months of use.

We also found that due to the snug fit of the Disc technology that we had no blisters on the heel - something that typically happens when we wear new golf shoes for the first time.
