No complications, no fuss

Need To Know

Ease of use; Sleek looks; nine variable speed settings for greater control
Quite a big unit
Our score:
PRICE: £299.99 YEAR: from 2011

Big fan of the sleek modern look and it's ease of use for someone as technically useless as myself. The lightweight frame is another big plus and everything can be folded down into the boot of the car in one easy move.

It has plenty of punch after 18 holes, and for me reliability is a big thing. The unit is very straightforward to assemble and also to fold away, but that doesn’t mean it’s small – in fact, it’s quite difficult to fit in the boot of the car, because of the size.

The speed dial is fantastic with nine variable speed settings for ultimate ease of use. Simply push the on button and away you go. If you’ve got a car that can happily accommodate this beast - it is quite a big unit - along with the accompanying bag, I would certainly endorse it.

Verdict

No complications, no fuss and it does exactly what you would expect. The S1 is easy to adjust and the bag feels secure on the trolley, which is often a worry I have with other electric trolleys.
