CONFIDENCE

easy to hit off the fairway, great backstop if the driver is going badly, superb combination of feel and distance.
none as yet, only played 5 rounds so far.
Very happy with this especially the feel that the steel heads give. Great off the tee or off the fairway/semi rough.

VERSATILE STRONG CLUB

T/S 13Deg Model hits the ball a long long way, easy to hit from the rough and easier from the deck.A great alternative from the tee, only 30 yards behind the driver and a nice low ball flight which is great in the wind.
The Tour Spoon 13 degree model is hard to come by.
If your not that great with your driver this is the club for you, distance has to be seen to be belived for a 3wood.
You do have to be a competant striker of the ball to hit it off the deck.
Overall an addition to anyones bag

A PLAYERS FAIRWAY WOOD

Good trajectory and consistent results.
TM who bring out too many new clubs and confuse the market.

A CHALLENGE

It hits the ball a long, long way and cuts well through rough. Sound is discreet.
Face is shallower than I expected but that hasn't caused any problems.
I already have the Burner 860 driver (TM stock stiff) and I was playing a Burner 2 3-wood with a Bubble2 S-90 shaft. I decided, when I saw the price on Discount Golf, to see if the new technology was any good. I've had my old 3w for donkey's years and I can produce a pretty consistent gentle draw, either off the fairway or the tee, so why change(?) and the price was right.. I figured I'd get the S-90 shaft in the TM MAS2 as this would be close to the Bubble2 S-90 and my driver shaft. First impressions were that this is a tad stiffer than both the driver and the old 3w. It sets up slightly closed as far as I can see. I'm not in a comfort zone with it yet but I didn't expect the transition from the Burner 2 to be effortless. I've hit some real beauts with this club and some awful ones too but the bad ones are down to me. I'll need more time with this club but I'm feeling pretty optimistic.
