Toughest Golf Shots: how to draw your driver
Body weight slightly forward

The draw shot with a driver is our second driving article in the Golf's Toughest Drives series.

Shaping the ball off the tee can be one of golf's toughest challenges especially as most golfers just want to hit it straight, but sometimes you need to get around a dogleg.

PGA professional Sam Quirke lets us know the simple physics behind the shot so we can give it a consistent draw when managing the course.

At set up the left foot will be out 20-25 degrees, the right foot will be out 15-20 degrees while the hips move forward 1.5 - 2 inches.

The ball at address would be at the back of the left heel, the clubface slightly open, and the handle pointing slightly forward, all to generate an in-to-out swing path.
