The short breaking putt is one of golf's toughest shots purely because your nerves are always tingling when saving par or trying to make a crucial birdie putt.

On all but the most severe of greens, putts inside of ten feet don’t tend to break from outside the hole. This can make it tricky to be specific with your starting direction and can result in missed birdie chances as well as par saves.
