First up Your Sporting Challenge are offering the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of the Euro 2004 European Football Championships in Portugal, while playing golf on the Algarve.
England’s footballers play France in Group B on June 13, Switzerland on June 17 and Croatia on June 21 and during that time you can pick up a week’s golf package from as little as £399 per person including flights, transfers, accommodation in a three star apartment and three rounds of golf on top local courses. Sadly, you get no match tickets thrown in, but at that price who’s complaining? You can still enjoy the post-round banter in a local bar while cheering on Europe’s top teams.
From June 10-17 you can stay in either the Albufeira Jardim Apartments from £419 or the Real Belavista Hotel from £569 per person. From these you can enjoy rounds at Penina - which recently staged the Portuguese Open - and the Laguna and Pinhal courses at Vilamoura. A week later (June 18-24) a similar package will cost £399 and £509 respectively.
Flights are from Manchester and Gatwick.
