Fans speculate over whether Jim Nantz spoiled Michael Block's ace

Commentator Jim Nantz may have spoiled Michael Block's ace from Sunday at the PGA Championship.

Golf fans have been discussing whether Jim Nantz may have spoiled Michael Block's incredible hole-in-one from Sunday's final round of the PGA Championship.

Block is a PGA professional who currently works in California. He stunned the golf world with an inspiring performance at Oak Hill.

Not only did the 46-year-old shoot back-to-back rounds of even-par 70 to make the cut, he followed that up with a weekend ace en-route to the biggest pay day of his life.

His fairytale story continued when it was confirmed he was playing his final round alongside Rory McIlroy.

This, again, resulted in another emotional reaction:

And on Sunday, in a too-good-to-be-true moment, Block slam-dunked a hole-in-one on the par-3 15th.

And now, fans are speculating whether Nantz spoiled this moment by alluding to it in the call.

As Barstool Sports' Dan Rapaport points out, Nantz said "from seconds ago" and "fairytale continues" ahead of the ace.
