I was wondering if anyone here has been using online instruction. I've enjoyed tinkering about with my golf swing over the years, but it has led to inconsistency. I've been following Clay Ballard on Top Speed Golf for about 9 months and it's stopped the rot that was setting in over the previous couple of years. Most of his stuff is available free on YouTube but I was curious enough to subscribe just to see what secrets he was holding back.
Basically it's a learning system whereby you learn the key positions and moves by doing hundreds of repetitions. If you've got the time and your body can take it, I'm sure most would improve considerably if they followed the system. I've canceled now after about 5 months because i haven't got the time or facilities to get the most out of it. Also I would get tennis elbow if I did all those repetitions, but I will stick with the method and most of it is available on YouTube anyway. If you want to learn the modern golf swing in "Crazy Detail" he's your man.
Has anyone else tried other online coaches, Mike Malaska for instance.
