Costa Blanca Golf course reviews
Vistabella Golf course, Near Los Montesinos was designed by Manuel Pi??ero who was an International Pairs Champion with Seve Ballesteros. The course opened in September 2009 and was once a citrus grove covering over 34 hectares. It is scattered with a variety of different tree and bush species including three majestic pine trees that can be seen from almost anywhere on the course. These pines form the symbol and logo of the course. Vistabella golf course is currently only 11 holes but planning should be granted shortly to take it to a full 18 holes. Having said that do not let that put you off as the course still allows golfers to play a full 18 holes that is almost 6,000 metres long with the tee off times being carefully planned to avoid any problems when you Cross over to the 12th hole. Manuel Pi??ero has designed a great test of golf including his trademark heavily contoured greens, it includes rolling hills and lakes and it is a great test of golf for all handicaps. The par 5 holes are generally all over 480 metres requiring long tee off shots to reach the greens in 2-3 shots, but with the majority of par 3 holes being between155- 165 metres from the yellow tees and the par 4 holes all of modest length, good birdie opportunities are possible if you can find the right area of the green with your approach shots. This beautiful golf course is suited to all types of players with an array of styled holes, dynamic large undulating greens, wide fairways with subtle doglegs and elevation changes, strategically situated raised bunkers and a large lake area, providing a plethora of challenging and enjoyable golf for all handicaps.
