Slicks will always be quicker than treaded.difference between 28 and 32 isn't much. I rate Wiggle for online bike stuff, have a look at their selection, or give them a ring.I run slicks on my MTB and that makes a world of difference on the road.
DanS, know what your saying, Tread always slower. I even losened the Rear Brake just to see if it was easier.I use Wiggle, though will go back to my Lites and 28's hope that will help
Wise to stick with what you know.I use continental city contact. Good rollers and a bit of tread if needed.If your brakes are set correctly, shouldn't have any effect on tyre choice.

Not the brakes I was just rtying it out to see if made a difference, it did not
