Just a few weeks ago, Bryson DeChambeau said that he planned on bulking up and adding size, strength and power after a disappointing summer of golf. Already, DeChambeau has piled on the pounds and is looking stronger than ever as he looks to get back to the top form we saw at the end of 2018.

"I'm going to come back next year and look like a different person," said DeChambeau.

"Bigger. Way stronger. Not necessarily bigger, but just stronger in general.

"I am going to look probably a lot bigger, but it's going to be a fun month and a half off. I have never been able to do this, and I'm going to go do things that are going to be a lot of fun."

DeChambeau is no short hitter, his current driving average is 317.8 yards, but it seems the American is keen to build more power in his body to compete with the likes of Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka.

To get to where he wants to be physically, DeChambeau is working with Greg Roskopf, who is an expert on developing strength where it is not being used to its full potential. Meaning, there are parts of DeChambeau's swing where he is failing to maximise the strength in his muscles.

At the start of his physical journey, DeChambeau weighed 195 pounds (13.9 stone) and his target is to reach 230 pounds (16.4 stone). In a recent Instagram post, DeChambeau shared his progress with some clips of him in the gym, where he revealed that he has already reached 220 pounds, meaning he is well on his way to accomplishing his goal... and fast.

Prior weight was 195 and I'm aiming to get to 230. Currently sitting at 220 so getting close!
