Paige Spiranac has urged the conservative author Nick Adams to buy her latest merchandise that was inspired by their social media spat.

Donald Trump's favourite author tells Paige Spiranac: "I can't date you"

It appears that Paige Spiranac's feud with the conservative author Nick Adams may be coming to an end. 

In case you missed it, Paige went in on Adams - who labels himself as an Alpha Male - over his criticism of "slow" female golfers. 

Adams asked if there could be a par-3 course set aside for "slow female golfers so they don't clog up championship courses on weekends."

He added: "There's no reason women should be allowed to slow down the pace of play on a beautiful Saturday like today." 

Paige, a former professional golfer who is now a social media influencer and PointsBet ambassador, told Adams it would be "so satisfying outdriving you all day long." 

The duo went back-and-forth and the exchange has millions of views.

Paige also joked that she was going to change her name to Paige Spiranac (Alpha Jugs). 

Although she later felt as though the nickname might come back to haunt her. 

The latest update is Paige has now decided to release a hat with the nickname. 

Urging Adams to buy it, Paige wrote: "I have a hat you can wear the next time you're playing golf with the boys and enjoying some M&Ms at the turn." 

Adams replied: 

"Paige, It was a fun ride. I’m glad we had our moment in the sun, I'll never forget it. But it's time to move on. For the good of Twitter, we could never date. I'm sorry Paige, but this alpha male has to spend time saving the male race, I can't date you. Always Winning, Nick."

In response, Paige signed off: 

"And the people will never forget you were too scared to take me on in golf."

In 2022 Paige was voted Maxim's 'Sexiest Woman'. 

She previously played professional golf and tried to earn an LPGA Tour card. 

Paige reflected on what she described as her "failed" pro career by saying on her podcast: 

"It was really hard to just realise that that maybe playing golf professionally just wasn't for me because I was not happy at all and this is a much better path for me but I had to give that up and I sacrificed so much in my life for golf and it was hard to say the least and I still feel like a failure because I didn't fully make it."
