Boozed up reveller arrested after stealing golf buggy.
A man has been arrested after driving a stolen golf buggy some 15 miles on public roads just to get a McDonald's.
The boozed up reveller travelled at 14mph for almost an hour, before cops caught him at 4am on Saturday morning after he picked up something to eat.
The buggy was covered in balloons and was taken from a golf club in Towcester.
He was arrested on the A45 in Daventry on suspicion of theft and drink driving, and found to be over twice the legal drink drive limit.
