Instagram star and golf influencer, Paige Spiranac, returns to Dubai this week to host coverage of the 2019 Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic at Emirates Golf Club from 1-3 May.

A big fan and friend of Dubai, Spiranac will present live coverage of the 13th edition of the tournament across the Dubai Moonlight Classic’s social media channels @OmegaGolfDubai.

The new tournament format will welcome 56 leading Ladies European Tour golfers as they take part in the first professional day-night golf tournament under the LED floodlights of the Sir Nick Faldo designed course.

The 26-year-old American saw her Instagram account of trick shots and photos explode in 2015 when she became an overnight social media golf sensation. She was invited to make her professional debut at the 2015 Omega Dubai Ladies Masters, followed by being invited back as the official starter at the 2018 Omega Dubai Desert Classic.

"I’m proud to be a part of this new and exciting tournament format. Dubai has always been a special place for me and I can’t wait to return for the Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic," said Spiranac.

"It’s going to be awesome to see the tournament played in May under the lights and I’m sure it will be another fantastic showcase of the incredible golfing destination Dubai has become. There really is no better location for a day-night golf tournament than Dubai!"

David Spencer, Tournament Director, commented: “We are thrilled that Paige will be joining us once again to host coverage of the inaugural Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic. We look forward to Paige giving golf fans around the world a unique insight into all the action at this year’s new day-night tournament and helping us continue to show how Dubai is the perfect golf destination to come to visit and play.”

The Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic will take part on the Faldo course at Emirates Golf Club on 1-3 May 2019. Entry is FREE and no tickets or registration is required - come and watch the world’s best female golfers and experience this inaugural event!
