Paige Spiranac roasted one social media user over the weekend who complained about "slow" female golfers.
Nick Adams - who has the term "Alpha Male" listed in his Twitter bio - posted quite the take over the weekend.
Wrote Adams: "Can't there be a par 3 course set aside for the slow female golfers so they don't clog up the championship courses on the weekends? There's no reason women should be allowed to slow down the pace of play on a beautiful Saturday like today!"
Of course, Paige - who has predicted big things for Rory McIlroy in 2023 - took a dim view of this opinion.
She wrote: "Nick is the type of golfer who tees off from the tips but can't hit is more than 220. He'll wait for par 5s in two when he's 310 out. Say "hit it sally" when someone in group leaves a putt short. And thinks he has a shot with the cart girl."
Not content to let it go, Adams told Paige that she wasn't famous for her golf swing or how far she can hit the ball.
So Paige replied: "Listen Nick, we all know I have fantastic milkers. I shall now change my name to Paige Spiranac (alpha jugs)."
The exchange was viewed by nearly three million Twitter users.
Can’t there be a par 3 course set aside for the slow female golfers so they don’t clog up the championship courses on the weekends?— Nick Adams (Alpha Male) (@NickAdamsinUSA) January 7, 2023
There’s no reason women should be allowed to slow down the pace of play on a beautiful Saturday like today!
Some of the comments included:
"Nick never met my mom. She'd be lighting up the pro shop if a round took longer than 3.5 hours."
"Paige, nobody actually plays with Nick. He’s the guy who sends a group text out seeing who wants to play on Saturday and nobody replies."
"I wish Nick would hit from the forward tees and speed up play for everyone behind and stop sucking the life out of the great game."
"I get your point. But why pick on us 220 guys?!"
